Dr Zainab Ihab Ayoub, MBBS, earned her medical degree from the University of Khartoum, one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Sudan and a leading centre for medical education and research in Africa. Her training there provided a strong foundation in clinical medicine, research methodology, and community health — values that continue to shape her professional journey.
Dr Ayoub is an Interventional Radiology resident at the University of Utah Health Academic Medical Centre in the United States, a world-renowned institution recognised for its excellence in patient care, research innovation, and advanced medical training. At Utah Health, she is developing expertise in image-guided, minimally invasive procedures that improve outcomes and quality of life for patients. Outside her clinical work, she enjoys watching TV shows, spending time with friends and family, baking, going for long walks, and staying active at the gym — pursuits that reflect her balanced approach to life and medicine.
