
Professor Amaka Offiah is a distinguished expert in Paediatric Musculoskeletal Imaging. She holds the position of Chair in Paediatric Musculoskeletal Imaging at the University of Sheffield and serves as an Honorary Consultant Paediatric Radiologist at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Honorary Consultant Paediatric Radiologist, she has significantly impacted clinical practices, improving the diagnosis and treatment of paediatric bone and muscle conditions.
She has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and presented her findings at numerous national and international conferences, contributing to the global knowledge base in paediatric radiology.
Professor Amaka, is deeply involved in promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion within the academic community, serving as the Chair of the Black, Asian, and Other Minority (BAME) Staff Network at the University of Sheffield and has been a strong advocate for equality, diversity, and inclusion, working to create a more inclusive environment in academia and healthcare.
