Topics of Interest:
- Contextualising global imaging protocols
- Radiology training & mentorship in Africa
- Innovations in low-cost imaging
- Public-private partnerships in radiology
- Health policy in diagnostic imaging
Project Title
- Keep your title concise — maximum 30 words (spaces included).
- It should summarise the focus of your work clearly.
Abstract Requirements
- Word limit: up to 300 words (title and author names not counted).
- Please divide your abstract into these sections:
- Background: Why the project was undertaken, and its relevance.
- Objectives: What you aimed to achieve.
- Methods: Methodology, tools, or frameworks applied.
- Results: Main findings, including key data if available.
- Conclusion: Lessons learned, impact, and next steps.
Presentation Options
Indicate whether you wish to present as an Oral Presentation or a Poster.
How to Submit
- Upload your abstract using the online submission form
- The first author/presenter must ensure all co-authors agree before submission.
Selection Process
- Abstracts will be reviewed by the RIGAf Committee.
- High-scoring abstracts will be chosen for Oral Sessions.
- Other accepted submissions will be offered Poster slots.
- Decisions will be communicated via email.
Who Can Apply
- Open to medical students, medical graduates, residents
- Projects must be radiology-focused (case reports, audits, QI, educational, or research).
- Presenting authors must register for the conference
